Reflection

I have learned a lot. After I have spent that much time. I learnt how to communicate in English with people and to talk about many different subjects as well in English as I just mentioned. Now I’m more confident while dealing with while dealing with people. In the past I could hardly speak English. I could understand what people say in English, but when it came to speaking English I felt very shy. Now I’m more culturally aware of the western traditions. So it was not only learning languages but also new cultures.
At the beginning, I had no idea on how to start an essay or even to write a paragraph. I had great fear when I hear about quizzes especially on these topics. After spending time in this course, I have learned how to make paragraphs in fewer 15 minutes. It’s a good start when its compared with my first level. This skill helps a lot in developing my carrier. It improved my thinking processes in many different ways. Some people still have problems in spellings with the ages of 20 – 30.

Examinations

Examinations are a very popular way to assess students, not only in HCT but also in many other educational institutions around the world.
Personally, disagree with this statement because assessments are on accurate way to assess the level in which students are at on their education. Examinations equal for all students and press ores students to review all the information previously studied , in examinations students are put on the sport and asked questions relating to the materials studied to see whether the understand and familiar with the material or need assistance in some areas. Examinations also help teachers see which areas students need help in and which areas they understand having assessments in classes periodically help student to stay on top of the subjects rather than palling behind.

Although agree that examinations are a fair way to assess students there are a few disadvantages which are , that there may not be enough time given to students to complete the examinations because , many students work at a different pace than their classmates. Also some students many get nervous and are unable to complete the examination. There may also be too much information which over whelm students and make individuals feel that understanding all the materially to an unobtainable goals. A better way to asses student progress.

In conclusion, in my opinion there are advantages and disadvantages to examinations as a way of assessments I feed the advantages out weight the disadvantages and all educational institutions including HCT should use examinations because they are a fear an accurate way to measures progress in their education.

Student education

In this following easy, I will be talking about how the students at HCT do not have to pay for their education, while in other places students will have to pay the full cost of their studies.

On one hand, the local students don’t have to pay any costs for their studies, as they are the people at this country, in addition to that, I think making the studies free for students encourages parents send their kids to study, also making the studying free for students will increase the amount of students and I will improve the country as they are the future of UAE.

However, also there are some disagreement points of for this topic, other students pay for the full cost, card its unfair for the students. In addition, to that they could be under privileged, and it could be difficult for them, which will most likely wake them not turn-up, and ruin their lives and cost the country, as they could have teen the where of UAE.

In conclusion, speaking of making students not pay for their studies make students certain students take the studies for gnarled and they don’t turn up. However, on the other hand, it is unfair our other students they pay because some students could not afford it. Therefore, in my opinion, I believe the government should make all students study for free or should make all students pay, as this should wake equality and have a good outcome, such as much developed countries such as USA and great Britain.

visitors to Canada

In this chart I will be talking about the amount of visitors to Canada, coming from Japan and Spain from 1996 to 2006.

Starting in 1996, there was a significant number of visitors from Spain to Canada. There were almost 300,000 Spanish visitors, compared to 850,000 Japanese visitors from 1996 to 1999 the number of Spain visitors. From 1996 to 1999 the number of Spain visitors sharply increased to about 630,000. In 1999 the number of Japanese visitors gradually reduced stop decreasing in 2003. Also, on the other band, the numbers of Spain visitors have been decreased so sharply. From 2003 to 2006 the number of japans visitors remain study, while Spain visitors increased from 2000 to 2004. In 2004 to 2006 they had a slight decrease.

In conclusion, the number of Japanese visitors numbered out the Spanish visitors during the ten years period.

Etisalat blocks

In this argument, I will be talking about the internet. Access that etisalat blocks in the United Arab Emirates, websites deemed counter to the country morality standards. Furthermore, the more, the paper news in the United Arab Emirates block materials that are embarrassing or negative words the country’s wears. I will discuss the pros of cons of media control in the United Arab Emirates. In addition, to that, blocking the internet access to certain web sites by
Etisalat in this country is a pro, because as it has several website with revises and web sites which is illegal in this country.

However, there are several cons for blocking out certain websites in the UAE by etisalat which includes YouTube can be used for viewing videos also for studying purposes for students studying access UAE. In addition, as I mention eel earlier there are also many cons against blocking certain website but I also believe etisalat should take extra care and decide which website to block and not the block, for example, blocking YouTube, face book can be used as a social net work but also be used for studying of researching purposes for the many students studying across the United Arab Emirates.

However, there are several cons that paper news block embarrassing information for the country’s more which is on pro, however, on the hand, there is a con as they are hiding important information from the UAE citizens, which could benefit there in different ways.

In conclusion blocking websites or information in newspaper has both pros and cons. I believe is best. Overall, bad websites should be closed good ones open.

visitors to china

The line graph gives us some information how many visitors come to China. Looking at the graph, I will be talking about the amount of visitors that visited china from the years of 1998 to 2007. There is a big difference between two graphs.

Furthermore, from the graph can you see that people from France are significantly high her on the hand, people from Germany had fewer people visiting china, that tell me is it’s either there are people that live in France love visiting china or there maybe French Chinese people living France.” Between “2002 to 2004 the number of France visitors reduce rapidly. There was slow rise between 2004 and 2007 with visitors from France.

In conclusion, last but not least, the chart how me that china is popular with its French visitors whereas German people tend to stay within their country. China is a nice destination to visit with many historical places to go to for European visitors.

mobile phone

Nowadays, many accidents are caused in the streets. I have seen too many people driving dangerously while using a mobile phone. It’s really dangerous to use the mobile phone while driving. People don’t think of it as a big problem or a big deal but it is a big deal. This easy will discuss both sides of using mobiles while driving.

Some people think is bad to use the mobile phone while driving and they agree with these points. The first point is that some people believe that while talking you are not focused on driving and that’s a big disaster. The second point is that if you hear bad news while driving. You might get angry and get distracted. Another point, which people argue about, is that while you are talking on the phone it is easy to drive too fast and have an accident.

On other hand, some people are against making it illegal they have some different ideas which make them believe that mobile phones are important. The first point is in case of an emergency you need to call for help. Another point is if you need to use the map application on your phone you need to see the screen finally, businessman might take important business calls.

In conclusion, in my opinion I think that using phones while driving should be made illegal. Because, really not worth it to end your life or to get in an accident and harm someone. A phone call can wait the world is not going to end if you don’t answer your phone. So, I think it should be illegal and I hope people stop using their phones while driving for our safety and for less accident.

Why are the traffic accidents so high in UAE

Today the accidents in the UAE are extremely high; this is because of many reasons.

There are many problems for accident derivers; this is of the main reasons as they do not care about their safety let alone others. “The streets are two wide “as we all knows the streets are too wide and drivers see the sp ace and unless it in the wrong way. “Teenagers receive license”, at a very young age, you will catch drivers as young as driving recklessly on the sheets that may harm others.

There are several things that the government can do to do something to solve the problems of traffic accidents there need to be more radars as the current radars are not really affective, in addition to that, the government need to do more advertisement about the traffic accidents and show the rough drivers what could happen if they over speed , also drivers need more education from the government to show them the amount of traffic accidents that happen in UAE and help each other to decrease this problems as traffic accidents are the highest cause of death in UAE.

In conclusion, in my opinion there are many ways where the government to decrease the accident in UAE can for example make the lenience above 21 years old and increase the radar.

TV Problem

One of the main problems facing the world is that kids watch T.V a lot. Many people believe that their children spend more time watching T.V than hanging with their parents or reading books. The main problems are that T.V affects their behavior, they will become overweight and it affects their grades at school. In this essay I will outline the problems of kids watching a lot of T.V and discuss come possible solutions.
There are many problems for children who are watching T.V too much. For example, it’s not good for their manners, it will affect their grades in school and it will let them become overweight. First, watching too much T.V causes the child to not behave well because of adult movies on the T.V. second, watching too much T.V affect the child grades at school because he spent his entire time watching T.V and don’t study. Finally, the children get overweight and wear glasses because he sits all day watching T.V and eating which will affect his weight and eyesight.
Turning to solutions, first is to lock the adult movie channels, so children cannot watch adult movies. Second, is to let them watch T.V only on their free time, which is after they finish their homework and studying, and let them watch T.V for a period of time and not every day. Finally, is to distract them from watching T.V by getting them into a club or by taking them out, so that they won’t wear eyeglasses or become obese.
In summary, there are a lot of things to do to save our children from watching a lot of T.V, but people should be stricter with their children because they are our future.

road accident

A bout six months ago I was invited to visit friend s in the country I was looked forward it and set out early, from then on, everything went wrong.
When I then in to the main rood l cursed in to another car. I was reversing and a cyclist comes along so it tides in to the side of my car. As if that wasn’t enough, when I get up out of the car a motorcyclist ran into my car door .and finally to all, I start to cross the road to help the cyclist and suddenly, a taxi knock me down.
I will not move again much until they take my leg out of plaster l will lie in the hospital and. I promise to sell my car as soon as possible.
One dark and starry night in the desert near RAK, I was with my cousins, and friends when a strange thing happened.
At the time we folks started to wade in the dam area in the valley at Sahnot which had several hills with our drums. A nice tall, brown laladan (sang) and laughed and was happy, until 2am at night. Then I heard women crying and calling. When their eyes turned towards the sound, we saw you care. This area is very secret and they their hands gestured out to earth, crying and a woman wrong her hands, to say “tamima”. Tired of people left this desert story to go to car and home.
In RAK we were confused and scared it was a very frightening the night I learned from it that l should never go to the desert.

The story started with Mr. Bean sleeping through many alarms and then he realized he was late for his dentist appointment.

First Mr. Bean’s alarm rang and then he got out of bed. Afterwards Mr. Bean went to the bath room and shaved. Then he read his note about the dentist. After that Mr. Bean get into his car in a hurry, Mr. Bean dressed while driving. When Mr. Bean got to the dentist he played with the dentist chair. Because Mr. Bean was frightened he stabbed the dentist with the syringe and the dentist fell down then Mr. Bean fix his own teeth. Afterward the dentist woke up and then MR. Bean left the dentist office.

All in all it was a funny story. Therefore I was interested a lot in Mr. Bean but we must organize appointment so we are not subject to problems and embarrassments.

Coffee is a very popular drink around the world. People drink it at all times of the day. There are several kinds of coffee, but I am now going to describe how instant coffee is produced.
First, coffee beans are picked from the trees and dried in the sun. Then, the beans are roasted and then cooled rapidly before being ground. The beans are then mixed with hot water and the mixture is strained before it is frozen. Finally, the frozen mixture is ground and then dried in a vacuum before it is packed into jars. The coffee is now ready to be sold in shops.

It can be seen that making coffee is not difficult as long as the correct procedure is followed because it is not quite as good as real coffee, but it is very popular and saves a lot of time. The manufacturers have done most of the steps for us!
